I can’t whip the smile of my dial, hehehe! Oh and dont’ forget my discount Fire Sale I’m really excited to share this news but over the last week, my wife has decided to send me on a trip to Egypt for a 15 day tour. One of our friends had mentioned in passing he was going to be doing a Egypt tour alone, and my wife had a brain wave and within a few days had all the flights booked so I’ll be travelling with my mate checking out some great sites which include the Pyramids, Sphinx, Alexandria, Luxor, Kom Ombo, Awan, the Red Sea. I’m pretty excited, a little bit scared, but overal excited at a great opportunity. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been before, any tips, suggestions etcs While the tour is pretty well defined there are some stages where we can do our own thing. I’ve decided I’m going to have to start some training and get a bit fitter before I go, as I’m sure the heat will knock me around a bit. If you can’t tell I’m almost dancing a jig right now imagining it, I’m sure I’ll have a great time, I really hope I can capture some great photos while I’m there. Thanks everyone and again, check out my sales if you haven’t! Craig

Well they come in threes. It all started August 13th, 2008. I won tickets to see Dana Carvey at a Winery in Saratoga through a local radio station in the San Francisco Bay Area. Then I decided to put some items for sale on Craig’s List, to get money for that 90mm Tamron Macro lens I want. I sold one of the items and now I’m $300 closer to my goal. Then the third and best one of them all. I sold Peeps Pyramid. What an awesome day. August 15, 2008 My first sale on RB WOOOOOO HOOOOOO This has made my day. What a way to wake up. I even joked with my wife when I created the shot now I will finally sell something on RedBubble. Funny how things go when you put them out to the Universe. In case you are wondering who bought my work. A lovely person by the name of AmandaWitt. Thank you so much Amanda you have truly made my day. You have also proven to me that sometimes good things come from playtime. I had such fun with this shot and learned some things with Photoshop. Be sure to visit Amanda’s page she has some amazing work as well.

Great news!!! My photo “The Pei Pyramid, Musée du Louvre, Paris ” made it to the Top 10 LA FRANCE challenge in à EUROPA! Bravo!!! The first time I travelled in France, I had a very cheap and bad camera… The second time I was there, the weather was bad and I had very little time to myself so I couldn’t make the most out of it… And France is such a beautiful country! Especially, I love Provence with its rolling hills covered in colourful lavender fields and lush green vineyards!!!!! And a lovely bottle of Rosé from a local winery, some fresh French bread and yummy cheese for dinner!!!! And I also love Paris, such a beautiful city with its stunning architecture, little charming cafes, rich culture and lifestyle!!! This city would take days, and days, and days to explore and to absorb the atmosphere. For many people visiting Paris is about queuing for hours to get to the top of the Eiffel Tower or to see Mona Lisa in Musée du Louvre. But there is soooo much more to this amazing city…. The next time I go back to France, I will have to do much better job with photographing its unique and spectacular landscapes! And drink more beautiful wine and sample on more of delicious French cuisine!!!!

I’m very gratified and complimented that the group, All Things Egyptian has honored me by featuring my photo “Sunrise on the Sacramento River”. Thank you so much! And another big thank you to the group Spirit of the Native American for featuring my work “Midnight Run”! These are two of my favorite groups because I love all things Egyptian and Native American, so I am especially delighted to be featured by both.
