This vessel is a replica of the original steam paddleboat “Jandra” which plied the Darling River in the late 1800’s. Edited “Greetings from Bourke,” for possable card (and maybe wall art) tourism sales.

Unedited version, straight from the camera, of my “Greetings from Bourke” card version. Provided for those who may want a copy with no writing, and for me to purchase and compare quality of the two versions, as jpeg files deteriate upon editing, but I am not sure about how much on one edit and save as. Any comments would be appreciated.

A trip to Puerta Vallarta last year. A much needed vacation. This is a composite of 4 shots. 3 at different exposures for an hdr, and one of the subject sublety processed with orton.

ACRYLIC GLAZING ON MASONITE , / (charcoal,markers,oil stick/details) A misty day …a sea of umbrellas stretched down the back road to the Hempstead, County Court House, as far as the eye could see…. I painted this of the Prairie View Student march for voting rights… / which were being violated AGAIN…in 2000. My father Eristus Sams had fought this beginning as a private citizen,with his own funds and took it all the way to the Supreme Courts and Won! It took 17 years to win the judgement…..1971,my senior year in High School. / He was also the 1st Black to run for the US senate since reconstruction. / He became Mayor of Praire View,Texas. / My daddy wrote and applied for 21 grants to develope the City and was awarded all 21 grants.

A small rock island below Pt. Vincente lighthouse in PV, I went back the next and there were no pelicans.

Pt. Vincente fishing access Palos Verdes CA, trying to catch the light coming through the water by getting under the waves and shooting up, my camera and lens weren’t happy with all the salt spray, I didn’t mind the wet shoes waiting for the right picture. Photo is taken as is with my Nikon D300 Tokina 10-17mm lens with circular polarizer lens. 134 views at the time of entering the 100+ group / /
