This is Pussy Willow – the runt of the litter. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona. She set this shot up for me as I was busy trying on her owners shoe collection!

In my search for Sydney letterboxes ,) I come across moments and opportunities. So, I am beginning a collection of some of these inner City Sydney moments: ‘Blink and You’ll Miss It’ - This image was recently used by DannyNolan in his journal entry EPIC / It’s a great read so check it out. / - Although this might look like a feral inner city cat, he was simply yawning after dozing on a possibly warm motorcycle engine on the first sunny and dry day in Sydney in what seemed like weeks. The other shots I took are friendly and sleepy…but this was a killer. Thanks to MBartworks for the cool title.

Inspired by an old ink print I saw in a book when I was a Child. / The print I remember had this big spooky figure of a man looming in the doorway and had this wicked dark atmosphere to it. / I dont think my version really compared tho, as i only got to get a glimpse at the book (it was in an old op shop and i didnt have any money ever as a child,) so, I had to go by memory, and with not wanting to copy theirs, I came up with this instead :) / Originally drawn in 1992, then redrawn back in 1997. / this is the redone version of 97. / -which is why there is a tea stain and the paper is rumpled :) / ...but i like to think it adds to the overall effect :) / Drawn on normal printing paper, just old and rumpled and torn and sunbleached like crazy :) All work (including images, and writings) copyright dimarie painter / / Click here for work details and credits if any apply… / Click on any category above for that genre… or / Click here to go back to my profile page ... thanx :)

He is mean and scrappy. He is bent on leaving scratch marks around your ankle, and he won’t stop ‘till he’s done so. But this mean kitty has a cute and cuddly side also. You’ll probably never see it though!

Folks it is Anno Domino 2009 .. the Month May ..Sunday 10 ; time 11.45 am / The Cruise ship docked this morning in Cadiz-Spain .. the most Southern point of the Iberian Peninsula. So, with the usual group explorers ( 3 camera fanatics and Ladies) we went ashore. Its always our policy to explore on our own and leave the Sightseeing sort of sardines in a tin for others / 90% of the time is always for the Lady explorers!! (Shops and markets) and 10 % for the Men with Camera’s.:(( / This way the divorce rate is as low possible, so all Men thinking of making a Cruise .. mark this strategy in your agenda. / Trust me .. all other systems fail in the end and you end up , single back to your Mom place or in a Tent / Caravan-Trailer on a camping side. Walking in some sort of chevy back Alley; I spotted Freckles here in a Window with that look: Any closer and I mark your face / Now lucky for me Freckles here was at 2nd level ..
