Its been a rollercoaster ride the last few weeks but the light bulb has lit above my head and I know that photography is something i want to do and is something that I will be able to pursue with my two small children. My mind is full of things to do … how to go about it .. Ihavent even made a sale on here yet but I am hopeful and I am going to start canvasing my town for opportunities . I would like to specialise in the animal/ pet area with nature / flowers / landscape/seascape as a side line … I am going to stalk the local dog obedience classes and see if they will let me take pics and go to the local fauna park for some bird and kangaroo pics.. if anyone reading this has any suggestions please comment …. I am all a buzz can’t wait to grow up :P

Last night I just had to stop. For some of these practiced veterans on this site who have honed the holiness of their craft will attest to I am sure; it is a prize when one finally lets go and pays attention to that which is really the peg that fits into the round hole, the round jpeg…hehe. I have scattered my writing, my photo’s and my passion all over my bedroom for years. Recently I have used this beautiful arena here at Red Bubble, as a catharsis for my fledgling momentum towards the me I have discovered in the last few days. I have made some pretty bold decisions. I am going back to basics and pursuing the dreams I have let go of over the years. Wait, I have to be honest, there were no dreams, I never dreamed that I would pursue art, or any craft thereof, it was my brothers domain as his work was well in the making since I was a child. I remember his ability to watch TV and draw at the same time. Still to this day, he does exactly that, watch some media piece, perhaps a movie of his choice while he works. I am having a hard time today deciding what to do but I have promised a friend I would help her out by selling a product or several that have to do with a branch of business I have been interested in and actually had a business in over the last few years.. Interior Design (emphasis on Green Design). I just don’t feel it. I am trying to decide; no I think I have decided that I need to take up my calling. The trick is the money thang.. Anyway with the unlimited supply of money and ideas available perhaps after I go through the motions of showing up for life today the answers will come, that is what I am betting on. So off I go leaving my dearest RB pals for a bit and sift through the day. I leave this journal entry with hope, happiness and a bit more clarity than I have enjoyed in a while.

  • Caught these finches chasing each other through the trees…they were doing some strange head bobbing etc.right before this…Must be mating season.

  • A dragonfly in clear focus in the foreground and another indistinct one in the background triggered this saying which I thought might make a nice greeting card about following a dream even if it seems elusive or unreal. I took this photo at Lake Martin in St. Martin Parish in southern Louisiana.

  • Film Still from my latest art movie project. It’s a thriller!

  • This is another still from my new project.

  • Erwin Raphael McManus. Wide Awake. If you are a sincere follower of Christ, then you are mandated by God to be a voracious, intentional learner. You cannot allow yourself to settle, to be less than your best in whatever field or endeavor you have committed yourself to. You must always strive toward excellence in whatever you pursue. And you are not allowed to ignore the world around you – otherwise known as the real world! You are not supposed to be a relic of the past or even a preserver of the past. You are to be in the world making it a better place to live. Rise to the top and see what God can do with your life. This doesn’t always mean you will be the best in the world at what you do, but you are supposed to be the world’s best you.

  • No matter how slopping the ground is…a tree always grows perfectly against the gravitation. Keep pursuing your goal…you’ll be there…

  • Driving throughout Israel I would often challenge myself with translating the Hebrew signs and bumper stickers along the road. Somewhere on our drive through the Negev dessert I struggled to make out a saying written in graffiti on the side of a large building. Knowing it had something to say about peace, I turned to my friend who was driving and asked what the other words meant. He said, “this word means – like to chase something or run after it.” I can’t remember the whole phrase now, but I remember the feeling of how desperately that peace is needed. My friends one month old son slept soundly – peacefully – through all our excursions. Yet peace is easily broken. Elusive. Turning the radio up in the car later that evening, we tune in to somber news of a recent terrorist attack claiming the life of a young boy in Bat Ayin. / “Pursue Peace”.

  • The Hellion Hunters
    by Kelsey Williams

The woman was clothed in a flowing green gown of the lightest material, pale and almost transparent, it clung to her skin like my tongue …

The Hellion Hunters are a group of demons who hunt both mortals and mystical beings of the Etherealm alike, killing or capturing them as they see fit, collecting some and draining others of their strength and power. They are the assassins and the bounty hunters of the underworld, and all who know of them fear them. Enter Baron Steffan, son of Baines, a man who is neither fueled by fear nor by lust for revenge, but by the desire to return home safely to his wife. The strong and noble Steffan, son of Baines, has been parted from his home for too long, and he is determined to see it once again, even if that means killing every last Hellion Hunter to do it.
