I was determined to go out and shoot. Earlier in the day we were at a Scottish Festival and the weather was awful, and for some reason eventhough I took the camera and took a few frames my lust for more wasn’t satisfied. Luckily for me my mother-in-law has a place on the scenic Central Coast, New South Wales…..I decided to disappear while dinner was roasting…. Photo taken Aug, 30,08. Hayarkon Park, Tel – Aviv. These flowers always taking me back to my grandparents (z”l) garden… Their shared garden was almost nothing, but these flower which has the most delicate soft colour and look. One of my own personal favourites of my infrared collection. This is an infrared background image multiplied in the blending modes portion of the layers palette. A ‘selenium’ tone is added in the hue/saturation area. I have also added a dark purplish red sun flare and of course, the beautiful swan who is looking back at you from his watery, heavenly canyon pond ;-)

Taken with canon 5Dmkll and canon 100mm macro.

Another of our neighbours is a keen gardner. This is not a large shrub, but covered with lovely purplish flowers. Taken with Pentax K20 camera and 70 mm Sigma Macro lens 1/125 f 16 ISO 400 flash was used to fill shadows, but at too low an intensity.
