A worked rubbing from a lino cut. Digitally coloured and manipulated. (2000). Unfortunately since the release of the Matrix movies the vertical visual text I used to use is no longer showing up much in my work.
Little girl dashing past me in Zanzibar.
A compilation of photography and illustration for something new and fun. This photo was turned into an advertisement for a condom company.
Another picture from my peacock feather series. I really enjoy the play of darks and highlights in this water droplet… it seems like a little war is being waged inside the drop… the forces of good and evil… the forces of light and dark… (I have an imaginative mind, don’t I? lol) I hope you enjoy this piece! A stylised view of St Ana’s Church, Magozd in Slovenia; my favorite church anywhere, home or away. Its setting is idyllic and this defiant little church, which has survived colossal battles (the Isonzo Front ran right through here) and earthquakes which wrecked nearby villages, has a dreamlike quality to it which I haven’t found elsewhere. Thanks to the lovely Lori Dennis for the wonderful Stock. / / “When all was over at the cemetery Charles returned to the house. There was no one downstairs. He went up into the bedroom and saw her dress hanging up at the foot of the bed. Then, leaning against the secretaire, he remained there till it was dark, lost in sorrowful meditation. After all, she had loved him.” / - Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary, Ch. 2
