Just a landscape on a very calm morning…. / Nikon D 200 …Saint-Hippolyte,Quebec,Canada. /
A soft rain fell last night, so soft, in fact, that I didn’t hear it hitting the roof. When I awoke, everything was drenched. The soft rain didn’t spoil the roses, it just filled the inner petals and left clues of it’s existence every place that I looked. I couldn’t resist photographing this rose, it was shear perfection and just begged to be immortalized. Purple rose with raindrops, soft focus added to edges. / Original image taken in my garden in Shady Cove, Oregon with an Olympus E-420 camera and a 50mm lens on Raw setting.
