This is one of my favorite photographs of my dog Molly, a red and / white Irish Setter. One of my great joys is looking into her / deep and soulful eyes. She has the rare capacity to make us laugh / simply by viewing her various expressions. Her feelings and / reactions are on the surface and Molly appears to not possess any awareness of why we can’t restrain ourselves from laughing as / we delight in her pure innocence. A single white blossom blooming on a hanging “spider plant”. This photo was taken with a Canon EOS 10D camera with a Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact-Macro prime lens. These beautiful snow-white blossoms were just coming into full flower, on a large green shrub in my favorite city park. It is obvious that this is a late spring bloomer. In fact, it was the last plant with fresh blooms in all of Brandon Park. The photo was taken yesterday afternoon, Monday, May 25th, 2009. This photo was captured with a Canon EOS 10D using a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM prime lens. The shutter speed was 1/125th sec at f/8. The camera’s ISO was set to 400. A Manfrotto tripod was used with a remote shutter release. Your comments are always welcome!
