I’d recently read Dostoevsky’s “Crime and Punishment” and this is what came out. Acrylic/Sharpie marker/sketch paper.
my eyes were black, i was living in the far lands of wisdome, i talked to the mountains and whispered to her her charming stars…..about my old sins, about my trapped soul.

Photograph of the marble statue of Cain (‘My Punishment is Greater than I Can Bear’) by London-born sculptor Edwin Roscoe Mullins (1848 – 1907) and which now resides in The Botanic Gardens, Scotland, UK, Europe. Cain, the son of Adam and Eve, is shown crouching in anguish after murdering his brother Abel in a jealous rage and being condemned by God to wander forever in the wildnerness as a refugee whose lands would remain barren. The story is from the first book of the Bible , Genesis 4:13. Glasgow Museums bought the statue at the 1901 Glasgow International Exhibition. A mezzotint is added to the image.

“My bad head cannot adjust itself to the way things are… If I want to depict spring, it has to be in wintertime; if I want to describe a beautiful landscape, I must be enclosed within walls; and I have said a hundred times that if I were put in the Bastille, there I would paint a picture of liberty.” Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Sound always evokes images. People who don’t see music in it’s visual form do not really feel music. Sound and shape are always metaphysically connected. Punished Saxophone is a visualization of sound. You will notice that the apparent chaos actually connects back into a coherent whole. :) / Enjoy.

With a Toyota hunting “trip”, my two friends Jo and TK, both prof hunters, was on the red carpet, for what they seemingly did wrong, while in charge of the hunters. At the “hearing” waiting for their punishment!
