Pulu Beras or “Prison Island”, Cocos Islands. Sure floats my boat….(for Gez!) Prison Island got it’s name from it’s small size and it’s inaccessibility during high tide unless on a boat. Last century, the tiny island was owned by Alexander Hare. He lived here in the only house on the island with something like 12 women and a heap of children…..what a life!
