part of the vibration series. ( see pulse in works not for sale) Originally inspired by the Brahma Kumaris ‘point of light’, it is a progression from there, after doing a 10 day silence retreat. The aim was to feel every cell and vibration in your body. By becoming more connected to your own physical body, and really knowing yourself in the process( where ever you ‘block’ your feelings, you become numb) you are more relaxed. calm and connected with the world. The result is a better life for yourself, and the the people you share the world with.

Pink Floyd Inspirations… Hello – Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me, Is there anyone home? Come on, now. I hear you’re feeling down. Well I can ease your pain, get you on your feet again. / Relax. I need some information first. Just the basic facts: Can you show me where it hurts? / There is no pain, you are receding. A distant ships smoke on the horizon. You are only coming through in waves. Your lips move but I can’t hear what you’re sayin. / When I was a child I had a fever. My hands felt just like two balloons. Now I got that feeling once again. I can’t explain, you would not understand. This is not how I am. I have become comfortably numb. / OK, just a little pinprick (ping) / There’ll be no more – aaaaahhhhh!! / But you may feel a little sick. / Can you stand up? I do believe it’s working, good. Ink on 120 gsm Cartridge Paper (A4) digitally reversed (one of my first digital experiments) Views: 1392 as at 25-11-2009 I did this doodle whilst in hospital. I’d had some ‘funny’ heart beats and pains, hence the title. I rocked up at the emergency department of our local public hospital with a huge bag of art materials; ready for a 4-5 hour wait…..but, as soon as I mentioned pains in my chest…..well I didn’t even get to sit down, I was taken straight through and hooked up to all these monitors. So I spent the next 4 -5 hours in a bed (much more comfortable than the waiting room). I’m sure I have ‘Obsessive Creative Disorder’ because I can not stop drawing, creating, painting, doodling …..and no stay in hospital was going to stop me. I’m sure this was the most healing part of my stay as it really relaxed me, because deep down I really was scared.
