  • Shot on the Cape Cod Canal in Massachusetts Every once in awhile I get really lucky around here. On this day, I was only trying to go for a naturally framed sunset photo, but with the passing of this ship, this photo became something more! I hope you enjoy! =============================================== / M/V Risanger passing through the canal on its way to Boston

  • My most popular work to date…. This photograph was taken on a gorgeous evening following a pacific storm that rolled through the northwest. The Columbia River, where this was taken, spans out almost five miles at the mouth. During low tide, mudflats expose and reflect the colors of the sunset for gorgeous photographs. This evening was exceptional with the fast moving thunderclouds passing by, lighting up the sky. Post-processing include HDR, and some dodging to even out the balance of the photo. / I hope you like it!

  • Hurray for perfect timing and perfect lighting! Our son, Sebastian finally took a time out to bask in the afternoon sun shining through the window. Running around at 90 miles an hour can take a toll on ya! He’s never been this laid back… you stick something in front of his face and he’s gonna lick it!!! For some reason, this time he didn’t. Maybe he knew he was going to be famous? He has so many human qualities, and this photograph really reflects it.

  • “This is my peaceful time, its calm and quiet, only the sound of my shutter breaks the crisp morning air.” ** / Some sharpening in Lightroom, thats all / /

  • South Jetty, Clatsop Beach, Oregon Shots like this are why I miss the west coast, theres just so much more power in the ocean

  • “Hey Honey! Yes…. Yes…. No, I won’t be home ‘till 8 tonight… No, I’m not out fishing again… there was some extra paper work that I had to do at the office… No… I don’t hear a boat at all… Honey? Honey??? Are you there?” Under the Bourne Bridge, Cape Cod, MA

  • ...across an ocean with a story to tell. I wish you could see all the places I’ve been Clatsop Beach, Oregon

  • The wreck of the Peter Iredale on Clatsop Beach, Oregon

  • Same location at The Calm after the Storm / with a little different perspective and a slight sepia filter.

  • A local resident walks along the beach on Cape Cod as the tidal surge churns the water onto the shore following the storm. Hurricane Noel took out power to thousands of homes on the Cape, drawing many out to the beach to observe the storm in all its fury. /   /   / Part of my Hurricane Noel series

  • Cape Cod Canal, Sandwich, Massachusetts / /

  • Cape Cod, MA Nikon D80 / 18-135 kit lens / Cokin P121M

  • Cape Cod, MA =========================================== So cold, the tracks were literally frozen in time.

  • My favorite Cape locale, under the Bourne Bridge in Massachusetts. The Bourne Bridge is only one of two bridges allowing traffic onto Cape Cod, often times creating a bottleneck for summer tourists looking for a vacation on its beaches.

  • Located in Sandwich, Massachusetts ==================================================== / 6 shot panoramic photograph captured on a cold morning this October. Stitched together in Photoshop, and processed in Lightroom. Theres some real detail in this shot, right down to every individual blade of grass :) / /

  • This one is definitely not for sale, but I had to share this with everyone. Call it a ‘botched’ piece, incredible amount of noise after an HDR process when I was still learning the technique. I guess thats what happens when you have a photo thats already noisy of a windy beach, the blowing sand doesn’t help the noise at all. For some reason though, I just love this piece, the incredible atmosphere that was created, its almost like a watercolor. Surreal but amazing. Other works for sale / / /

  • I’ll let the photograph speak for itself on this one. Enjoy! -Brian My apologies for the oversharpening, it’s part of RedBubble’s processing and does not reflect the printed image /

  • Old abandoned naval ship which used to rest on the shores of Young’s Bay in Astoria, now rests on the shores of Megler, Washington along the Columbia River. Following an afternoon storm, the sun began to break through, exposing color on the Coast Range behind Tongue Point.

  • A drive-by shooting in Acadia National Park last fall.

  • Reprocessed in Black and White… I think I like this one better.

  • Water churns against the rocks with a gentle woosh, its very calming, wouldn’t you agree?
