Puddin is from the PUG rescue. She is blind in the eye you can see in the photo and is missing the other eye. She is getting old and can not hear very well anymore. I was calling her name so she would face the camera, no luck. she is such a happy dog and well taken care of.
This is Peanut the Pug. She is from the Pug rescue. She ALWAYS has her tounge out. It gets all dry and hard at the end!

My Girlfriends Brother has a pug because they are oh so fasionable and a good laugh to. They are both beautiful and ugly, hence pugly. The chinese bread them because they thought that you could read your fortune in the creases on their face. All I’ve learned from a pug is they like to chew your fingers.

Last year, I fished a pond in the Adirondacks that wasn’t particularly easy to get to because it involved crossing three bodies of water and two carries. A reliable source told me that the next NYS Record Brook Trout was likely swimming in this pond. As the sun went down on each occasion, a large rainbow trout would begin to rise for the evening hatch quite close to shore. It wasn’t “sipping” the flies in either. On many rises the fish’s entire body would become airborne and come crashing back into the water. I beached my canoe and walked to the site with my camera and discovered that it was not just one trout, but several that were feeding in that area. The largest one was perhaps 15 inches long with an upper jaw that was either mashed in or missing. Everytime I went back to that spot, this trout, that I fondly named “Pug” would always be there. / This year when I went back to that very same spot, I was disappointed when I could not see a fish nor rise. A mayfly was on the surface. I took a shot of it using a flash. No sooner had the flash gone off when I noticed a fish…a magnificent rainbow trout. It was at least 20” long with a thick body. Then I saw it…the upper jaw was short…Pug?? Is that you??? Oh no…now I have fish friends!!! See more of my Adirondack landscape and wildlife photos at http://bestrainbowtroutphotos.com. My favorite photographs of rainbow trout are quite unique and have received much recognition. Thank you for looking. Have a great day!!!
