Beautiful sunset and its reflection in a puddle of water.

We took a day trip from Christchurch and encountered some really heavy rain (even by New Zealand standards). We had given up hope of a good day when suddenly the clouds cleared and the sun came out. The mist cleared progressively revealing snow covered peaks that we hadn’t realised were there. There is no magic in the shooting of the photo and no alterations have been made. This is just the moment!

Another Luneburg Germany shot. The Rathouse clock in a rain puddle reflection. About an hour south of Hamburg, this gem of a city is one of the few that has never been subjected to the bombings of either WWI or WWII. This reflection is from one of the towns main public squares where markets and holiday celebrations take place. Take a look at my other pics – maybe you’ll spot the reflected clockface in another one?
