In the eight continents beheld the ways of Man, / The Sun’s procession, the orbit of the Stars, / The surging of the dragon, the soaring of the phoenix in his flight. / In the red desert to the south I sweltered. / And Northward waded through the wintry burghs of Yu….... Words written by Chang Heng Chang Heng ( 78 – 139) was the leading scientist of the Later (or Eastern) Han Dynasty of first and second century China. The life that I have is all that I have / And the life that I have is yours. / The love that I have of the life that I have / Is yours and yours and yours. A sleep I shall have / A rest I shall have, / Yet death will be but a pause, / For the peace of my years in the long green grass / Will be yours and yours and yours. This painting has a set of images, a stream of pleasant thoughts that past through the mind. This is the largest painting I have done for anyone and it relates to someone’s past life. A life which has passed through so many timelines. The images appear with the help of my Spirit guides to help me pin point the wonderful encounters they have experienced. A study and the love of painting is something I am happy to do in this noiseless dream. Music – Hans Zimmer Painting using acrylics, inks, pigments, graphite and gold leaf. August 22nd 2009
It is one of the saddest events for any parent when a child dies. I have numerous people asking me for paintings while attuned to my Spirit Guides. These are sad moments, but the paintings bring comfort to many people. Gilly died at a very young age. He was a typical young boy with very old fashioned ideals. He liked adventures with pirates and built ships which could whisk him away to glorious places, not yet discovered. As a young child I often saw Gilly’s Spirit, but didn’t know him. Today, after all these years he has made himself know to me in this painting. Both his parents have now passed over and I dedicated this painting to his memory…..... I add the words of Khalil Gibran – Lebanese American artist, poet and writer. (1883 -1931) The songs of the waves and the hymns of the streams / Are scattered, and the voices of the throngs reduced to silence; / And I can hear naught but the music of Eternity / In exact harmony with the spirit’s desires. / I am cloaked in full whiteness; / I am in comfort; I am in peace…..... Understanding Gilly…......... Music – Mighty Men of Old – by Paul Collier. August 27th 2009

The naked earth is warm with Spring, / And with green grass and bursting trees / Leans to the sun’s gaze glorying, / And quivers in the sunny breeze; And life is colour and warmth and light, / And a striving evermore for these; / And he is dead who will not fight; / And who dies fighting has increase. The fighting man shall from the sun / Take warmth, and life from the glowing earth; / Speed with the light-foot winds to run, / And with the trees to newer birth; / And find, when fighting shall be done, / Great rest, and fullness after dearth. Though I am often in the depths of misery, there is still calmness, pure harmony and music inside me. I see paintings or drawings in the poorest cottages, in the dirtiest corners. And my mind is driven towards these things with an irresistible momentum. Vincent van Gogh / 21 July 1882 – Letter to Theo who Vincent loved so much. I will be the gladdest thing / Under the sun! / I will touch a hundred flowers / And not pick one. / I will look at cliffs and clouds / With quiet eyes, / Watch the wind bow down the grass, / And the grass rise. / And when lights begin to show / Up from the town, / I will mark which must be mine, / And then start down! Words by Edna St. Vincent Millay,1892 – 1950, often referred to as Nancy Boyd.
Your approach to life is far more practical than that of most people. There’s an understanding and a balance to your thinking. Each and every experience you encounter is carefully weighed, and then acted upon. You have alot of positive energies surrounding you, ask them for help, support and guidance. Trust in your intuitive feelings and give them an opportunity to grow. This healing painting is dedicated to Cynthia, with love and healing thoughts from us all at Unseen. You have been placed on our healing list and we shall think of you daily. October, 25th 2009
