Out one morning, I saw these sheep in a near by field still waking and starting their day. The early morning mist rising on this cold morning reminded me of the well know scripture from Psalm 23, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.” A verse that been used in so many ways to bring peace and remind us of the care that God give to each of us. Of course this is only verse 1…but the entire Psalm 23 is awesome!! One of my most favorite cousins, Christine, (via marriage on Dennis’ side) gave us this bird feeder. I LOVE it!! The birds love it too…and I have other pictures of birds actually eating from it that I took today (3-9-09), and I will post them in a few.
