Bengal Tigers Critically Endangered The Bengal tiger, or Royal Bengal tiger (Panthera tigris tigris or Panthera tigris bengalensis) is a subspecies of tiger primarily found in Bangladesh, India, and also Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar and southern Tibet. The white bengel tiger is not an albino, it has blue eyes. The white coat and light features are caused by a recessive gene. Very few survive in the wild because they do not have the ability to camoflauge themselves in their suroundings. Sadly, there are those who breed them for their exotic looks all for money. Because they occur so rarely, many orange tigers die or are mistreated in the process. Tigers are solitary hunters. They love the water, and are not afraid to chase their prey down into the water. In fact, this is how tigers often get food. The wait for an animal to be drinking at a water hole, then scares the animal into the water, where the tiger will chase it farther into deeper waters, making it easier to catch. Tigers have retractable claws. This enables them to walk through rocky, grassy, muddy, or sandy areas without dulling their claws, which they need to hunt with. Comments about this work This shot was underexposed with a great deal of noise. I thought it too precious to delete, so I worked it like crazy with filters, colorizing, etc. I’m rather happy with the outcome considering it was otherwise headed for the recycle bin. Highly edited!

Bastet had the roles of fertility, protector of children and the protector of all cats. Bastet became so popular that she became a household goddess. Bastet’s counterpart was the goddess Sekhmet who represented the cat goddess’ destructive force. Sekhmet is known as the goddess of war and pestilence. Together, Bastet and Sekhmet represented the balance of the forces of nature in Egypt. Painting in mixed media / 100×42 cm 3rd October 2008 Music -

This one is for all those who have suffered wrongs under the talons of the human beasts of this world. If their flesh were pulled back--it would reveal the one who is behind it all. The Bible calls Satan the Great Red Dragon, and so do I. / I have considered myself a Dragon Slayer for the last 30 years now-and there are more dragons now-than ever before. Around my neck I wear a warning to all those who would violate the innocent-I hope I catch you—one fine day you will know what being preyed upon feels like. May you be found out. I created this piece as a renewed stand against the enemies of all things sacred and holy. I have stood beside too many flower draped boxes bearing the mortal remains of those I loved; and heard far too many of the cries of precious and lovely damaged ladies, youth, and children. Rise up oh men of God, and stand with me to protect the innocent. / A Dragon Slayer, / Dale Crum
This is a wild crow that I handfeed on my back deck. Every year she has babies with her partner. Last year they had 3 and were quite worn out when they finally left home. At the moment they are feeding their new babies but they won’t bring them to me for another couple of weeks. The babies come to trust me very quickly. I have an affinity with birds.
Acrylic on canvas. Unstretched. Size is 28 X 36 inches.
Anpiel is an angel who protects wild birds. / Example: The swan exemplifies a need for faithfulness and loyalty, the robin or eagle means that the angels are near and are guiding your spiritual path. Through a white dove or three white feathers angels send you a message of peace and spirituality. So it is written in my Book Of Angels ! / I used four different images here, experimenting with layers! / Thank you for viewing and I hope you like Spirit Eagle! / /
I’ve always loved Margaret Widdemer’s poem, “The Watcher.” I’ve coupled it with an image I took of a steeple of a very old church in Houston, Texas. I hope that those who have suffered the loss of a mother will find comfort in this photo. My mother is still alive and I am grateful for her; I created this image for those whose mothers are no longer with them and who suffer loneliness, especially during the holidays and on birthdays and anniversaries of death.

This one began with a shot of my son Matty (before the big awesome beard) leaning against this cool old painted brick wall--then it happened-I saw the wings-hand drew the wings—and that was cool enough-then I remembered this shot of my grandson Rhett-and then wellllll—here ya go! I believe in Angels BIG TIME--and I thought-how cool would it be to make “Uncle Matty” the guardian over Rhett—which he already is anyway. *You guys will love this too--when I saw Rhett a while back-I noticed he was staring at the computer screen-where the background is a photo of my two sons— Rhett asked, / ”Papaw?—Uncle Matty—he’s coooool isn’t he?” So in this little three year old’s mind Matty is the definition of Coolness--verrrrrrry wise young man-but actually-His Papaw—-has held that title for a little longer LOL!!!!!
