  • This shirt is completely true. Please go to the PETA website for more info. And don’t worry, the puppy in the picture is my adopted dog Mattie. She’s my muse for many of my designs. This is a photo of her the day I adopted her when found in an alley with her brothers & sisters. She’s been with me for 11 1/2 years now. 20% of sales donated to the Humane Society and PETA For more info on the bloody evils of the fur trade or to find out how to make the torture stop, go to peta.org To see more of my artwork and designs, visit http://www.cafepress.com/buy/samitha/-/cfpt2_/cfpt_/source_searchBox/copt_ Poppy website: http://www.samitha.org

  • This is a collaborative transatlantic entry between myself and the incredibly talented and totally awesome billyboy in Belgium for RedBubbles Gaia – The Living Planet competition. Now, I’m not a religious person, but I wanted to illustrate by using billyboys Noah’s Ark image that if we dont start taking care of this planet we are living on I truly / believe we will be in for a disaster of biblical proportions. All that is beautiful and wondrous will simply disappear… like so many ephemeral bubbles. We are all interconnected, and we must find our harmony with Gaia, or risk losing it all. Many thanks to billyboy for sharing my vision, and giving so generously of his time, blood, tears and love to bring this vision into glorious life. Concept: Rhana / Background artwork: Billyboy / Art within the bubbles: Rhana / Bubble creation: Billyboy / Design: Rhana / Title Inspiration: Billyboy For those interested in buying the totally hawt tee of this image its now available over at billyboys place. Proceeds from sales of the tee go to the STV Foundation.

  • This is my 12 year old puppy Mattie. Isn’t she beautiful? She is my life, she is my muse. I’m downloading many photos of Mattie in hopes of raising money. She recently passed away after fighting liver cancer. She fought the horrible disease for 2 months with chemotherapy, but in the end it took her life. The last chemo session, she looked at me and softly said she was tired. So, I took her home and made a bed on the floor for the 2 of us and I held her through the night until she passed away in my arms the next morning. She is missed every second of every day, but she will live on forever in the hearts of everyone she met and new. So every t-shirt and piece of artwork I sell will go to paying off her final $10,000 of doctor bills. I love you my perfect angel.

  • as always – click image for a larger more detailed view. Located and defining South Gippsland is the Strzelecki Ranges – once one vast rainforest which was a unique blend of cool temperate forests that amazingly contain isolated pockets of warm temperate rainforest. / When early settlers began ‘opening up’ the region, South Gippsland was known as the’land of the lyrebird’ as this vast rainforest was home to the Superb Lyrebird in such great numbers – the majestic mimicking skills not only had the repertoire of everything that lived around them but quickly took on the sounds of the new comers with inpeccable calls of camera shutters and chainsaws. The Strzeleckis are not only home to Superb Lyres… but endemic Koalas and native Fish,Quolls, Gliders, Platypus, Wombats, Bandicoots, Potoroos,Echidnas.Wallabies..the fauna list goes on…. / The Flora of the region no less impressive with it once being a stronghold for the largest flowering plant on Earth – Eucalyptus Regnan. It has been reputed that the tallest tree on the planet once grew in the heart of these ranges – some 120m+ it measured when it lay on the floor near Thorpdale earlier in the 20th century.Very few pockets of these old growth ‘emperors’ remain – but where they do surely they rival their protected cousins in the world famous and hard fought for forests of Tasmania. / Now less than 20% of this bioregion remains with an alarming 2% protected – the lowest of any region in Victoria. Election promises of 30,000 h NP’s or ‘Cores and links’ have not eventuated after many years… Instead we see logging and clearfelling rates INCREASE. With Hancocks been the major forestry operator – a US company.. Is this really worth it ? With the latest BLUNDER from the Victorian Brumby government failing to renegotiate ANY protection in the renewed forestry contracts with the US company – Hancocks timber… Someone PLEASE get rid of this state government – fast ! ! ! Speak up and have a say in our country – our planet – for our future generations… 100% of any profit from print sales I may happen to make here will be donated to the ‘Save Our Strzeleckis’ campaign. / / Fuji G617 – Velvia 100F. / ©T.Middleton2008 —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / / see more of my TRUE panoramic photography by clicking on the image below / / —

  • something I put together in PS with a drawing of mine

  • One of our rescue puppies… Pudge is now living as “Buddy” with his brother with one of our friends… They are doing GREAT! Can you imagine that an animal shelter would have destroyed this wonderful baby along with his 4 siblings and mother? Insanity.

  • ok , I’m not sure if this was the result of too much coffee , or not enough coffee… or if that little wire that connects rational thinking to the rest of my brain finally broke…. either way , I thought this was funny …and made a statement . As for those of you wondering , yes it’s ribbed, yes it’s lubricated and yes it’s ultra sensitive … nothing but the best for my planet :) and yeah , that IS a resevoir tip ! Now , I know I need more coffee…... Detail

  • I’ve created new designs to help me raise money. Hurricane Ike in Galveston Texas took my home, my business, my galleries, and all my artwork in one very long night. Most of my friends and family are in the same boat too. So 100% will be donated to them.

  • Endangered species do what they can to save themselves. Some attempts may be misguided and counter-productive, but every little helps :)
