Canadian geese taking off in the morning from Prospect Lake, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. I used my 70-300 lens for this capture, so they look like they’re really close. I also added some dry brush in PSE 3.

Prospect Hill Baptist Church is home to the motto “In God We Trust”. It was in 1861 that the Reverend Mark Watkinson wrote a letter to Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. I just happend to be very peckish about me eating one of those. so I took my bisycle to the local supermarket and baught one. I couldnt hold myself from eating it untill i came home, so i ate it on the ride home. Its pure sin in material form, sweeet and exquisite.

The first lighthouse to mark the east side of the harbor entrance was built in 1850, the original granite lighthouse attached to a dwelling was replaced in 1891 by the present 38-foot wooden lighthouse and a new farmhouse-style keeper’s house, the light was automated in 1934, but a keeper remained at the station until 1953, the lighthouse is now on the grounds of a Navy installation (Detachment ALFA), the keeper’s house known as “Gull Cottage” is available for overnight stays for active and retired military families. Fascinating Fact Some guests at the keeper’s house have reported ghostly activity in the building. A statue of a sea captain seems to change positions by itself, and some guests claim to have seen or heard a ghost at night.
