Many Native American Medicine Society’s, in almost every tribe consisted of a society of women, or bringers of the rain that nurtures the abundance of their food sources. The Three Sisters ~ corn, beans and squash fed many tribal peoples as a regular staple when game, fish and other crops were not plentiful. The WhirlWind Buffalo Sisterhood began just before Miracle, the white buffalo calf was born in Wisconsin, on August 20, 1994. A rainbow culture promising peace among all nations and all people, stressing equality and opposing any superior race that controls or conquers other peoples. The Unity of all colors, all creeds, all beliefs, working together for the good of the whole and when all pathways to wholeness are respected by all cultures, the prophesy of the Whirling Rainbow will be completed. When the time of the White Buffalo, the third generation of White eyes children will grow their hair and speak of love as the healer of the Children of the Earth. These children will seek new ways of understanding themselves and others. They will wear feathers and beads and paint their faces. They will seek the Elders of the Red Race and drink of their wisdom. These white-eyes will be a sign that the ancestors are returning in white bodies, but they are red on the inside. They will learn to walk the Earth Mother in balance again and reform the ideas of the white chiefs. These children will be tested as they were when they were Red ancestors by unnatural substances, like firewater, to see if they can remain on the Sacred Path. After the time when the buffalo returned, the generation following the Flower Children would see the dawning of the Fifth World of Peace. Appearing to those who see, would be a Sun Dog, or full rainbow circle around the Sun that has bright white lights at the Four Directions, a rare natural phenomena. Enough of the Earth Children will be awakened to carry the responsibility of the teachings and the healing process will begin in full swing. Many will remember their “purpose” for being here on Earth and will develop their gifts to assist humanity. Truth will shatter the bonds of separation and goodness will prevail with tolerance, acceptance and understanding. The WhirlWind Buffalo Sisterhood has consistently sought knowledge that changes lies to truths, that have made us mistrust one another and replace the illusion of separation with the truth of UNITY. In non-violence and peaceful energetic, teach that a worthy opponent will present lessons to make us grow beyond any high drama and into a sense of unity within Self, to then share with others remembering that any challenges to unity are equal to our ability to overcome them. The buffalo symbolized not only the strength of the Whirlwind, but also prosperity and abundance ~ the past 15 years, since Miracles’ birth ~ the Tribe of All Nations has been gathering physically, mentally, emotionally, tribally, socially, morally and spiritually all over the world, even more so with cyber-space communications. Can you deeply, completely and profoundly accept yourself and others with all the faults, problems and limitations, as well as the gifts, strengths and ability to love? / ©tkrosevear~WindOwl Mandala sketch photographed, painted, edited and merged with Buffalo photograph in photoshop7 with final editing in redfield plug-in fractilius. Many years ago, sometime in the early 1990’s, my husband and I were travelling through Hopi land, outside of Truth or Consequences, Arizona and happened upon a Tribal officer while camping, and we shared a pot of coffee with him. In our conversation, he noticed a basket of sacred white sage, that I usually wrapped while we drove through the countryside, prompting him to telling us about Oraibi, the oldest (still standing) native site in the U.S. He continued by telling us of a gathering there on the following day, and that he’d like to invite us to attend and we wholeheartedly agreed. / We started our morning having a traditional Hopi breakfast of Frybread, black beans and eggs, then we drove up to the Mesas, ignoring the signs that read “No White Man beyond this point”, we drove up a winding road, while I wrapped and was burning sage. When we reached the dwellings, many people were coming out of their homes and surrounding our hippie van (‘78 Dodge). It turns out they had not had white sage (grandmother sage) growing on their land for a couple of years, so when they smelled it coming from our vehicle they had to investigate. Thank Creator that it grew like weeds on our property in California, and we had plenty with us. We gifted several people with wrapped bundles, while others wished to trade for torquoise, blue corn and dye-making instruction. It was a wonderful morning, and we felt good that they mentioned it was a significant gift for the upcoming gathering, which they also invited us to attend. / After eating lunch with a beautiful Hopi family, we drove down the Mesa, following our new friends to Oraibi. When we arrived, there were maybe a dozen people standing around, we got out of the van and an elder man in jeans, a flannel shirt and a bandana around his head, approached us, as I held out a small basket of bundled sage, he just smiled. He took the basket in his roughly worn hands and motioned for us to follow him. We sat down in a circle with what grew to about 30 people, at this time and another man began speaking about the Earth and introduced the elderly man as the authorized spokesperson to speak on behalf of the Elders of the Hopi Nation – Thomas Banyacaya. / I was actually aware of who this elder was, and shocked that I was standing beside him as he was to address a chosen group of tribal and non-tribal (us) members, which was now about 75 people. This humble man would share a message of clear intent and great importance… We are the One’s we have been waiting for… / We have been telling the people that this is the eleventh hour. Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the hour. And there are things to be considered: / Where are you living? / What are you doing? / What are your relationships? / Are you in right relationship? / Know your garden. It is time to speak your truth. Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for a leader. This could be a good time. / There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold onto the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and they will suffer greatly. / Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore and push off into the river. Keep your eyes open and your head above water. See who is in there with you and celebrate. / At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally. Least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt. / The time of the Lone Wolf is over. Gather yourselves! / Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. / All that you do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration. / We are the one’s we have been waiting for.” This artwork is a symbol of the rain deity that I remembered from a rock drawing we saw while at Hopi land, near Betatakin. Drawn, photographed, then painted in photoshop7 (it is also the T-shirt design called Earth Tribe with a slight alteration) All, all and everything is of importance and nothing that is good happens fast. Thanks to my serendipitous sister, owlspook, a link providing the same message ;) New Hopi Prayer
And the earth shall be destroyed in fire, / and the trees shall burn, / and the very skies shall be set alight, / and all will be purified in the flames of hell.
Return now from place far away / To judge Earth on this judgement day / Decide what comes and what will stay / Which things to their home they’ll convey / / Decide they will with pure thought / On all things that this Earth has wrought / To separate what’s good or not / Judgments that can’t be swayed nor bought / / Things deemed unworthy or unsound / Will be left just as they are found / To vanish in act so profound / Where all that’s left will not rebound / / This fractal artwork was inspired by the prophesies of Judgement Day. This is one of the prophesies that exists in almost all religions of the world. Similar versions of Judgement Day are found in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The only exception I am aware of to the prophesy of judgement day is in Hinduism, as in Hinduism Satan doesn’t exist. / / I am a spiritual person, but not a religious person, which is most frequently termed as an Agnostic. I believe that there is something far greater than all of us in this universe, for we exist, but keep an open and questioning mind as to just what that might be. In this artwork I represent one of those alternative views of Judgement Day, where our ‘creator’ returns to salvage what good has come from our world (and not just from an arrogant human civilization), to save it before our world ends by taking these positive attributes back with them from where they came. / / Granted, as an agnostic, I think there is a good possibility as well that there will be no judgement day at all. The prophesy of judgement day may have come about through humankinds everlasting quest for immortality, and the need to believe that humankind will continue on forever. Only time itself will tell the truth about judgement day. / / This was artwork created in Incendia. The fractal is exactly as it was rendered. The background image of Earth used with Incendia is from a well-known public domain image from NASA. The only post-processing was to crop it just a hair to bring it to a more common printing size. The original artwork is 3600×3600 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. The details are difficult to see over the internet, so I have included a few detail cutaways to give you a better idea of the overall detail of the artwork. The cutaways are at 100% of the original size. / / / / / / / /

I took this shot of a shadow on my wall behind my desk a few weeks ago and it brought to mind, so many visions. Animals, spirits and the most intriguing was that of Crazy Horse, the Oglala Sioux Chief and a statement that he made while he sat and smoked the Sacred Pipe with Sitting Bull for the last time, four days before he was assassinated at the young age of 33, in 1877, over 130 years ago. / “Upon suffering beyond suffering: the Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and seperations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again. In that day, there will be those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things and the young white ones will come to those of my people and ask for this wisdom. I salute the light within your eyes where the whole Universe dwells. For when you are at the center within you and I am at the place within me, we shall be one.” / Crazy Horse 1845-1877 Crazy Horse – the spirit lives

A Fractal created in Apophysis with a photograph merged of a lapiz statue acquired in the Yucatan… maya: (Sanskrit) “Consisting of; made of,” as in manomaya, “made of mind.” From the verb root ma, “to measure, to limit, give form.” The principle of appearance or manifestation of God’s power or “mirific energy,” “that which measures.” The substance emanated from Siva through which the world of form is manifested. Hence all creation is also termed maya. It is the cosmic creative force, the principle of manifestation, ever in the process of creation, preservation and dissolution. The Upanishads underscore maya’s captivating nature, which blinds souls to the transcendent Truth. In Shankara’s Vedantic interpretation, maya is taken as pure illusion or unreality. In Saivism it is one of the three bonds (pasha) that limit the soul and thereby facilitate its evolution. For Saivites and most other nondualists, it is understood not as illusion but as relative reality, in contrast to the unchanging Absolute Reality. In the Saiva Siddhanta system, there are three main divisions of maya, the pure, the pure-impure and the impure realms. Pure or shuddha maya consists of the first five tattvas – Siva tattva, Shakti tattva, Sadasiva tattva, Ishvara tattva and Shuddhavidya tattva. The pure-impure realm consists of the next seven tattvas. The impure realm consists of the maya tattva and all of its evolutes – from the kala tattva to prithivi, the element earth. Thus, in relation to the physical universe, maya is the principle of ever-changing matter. In Vaishnavism, maya is one of the nine Shaktis of Vishnu. Maya – Children of the Sun
