Jan Piller, Plattsville, Ontario, Canada, is a photographic artist. She delights in birds, mostly, and their infinitely curious nature. One look, however, at Jan’s images, will convince you of a magic spell she’s cast over her scene. The magic takes you in; and you will not want to escape its soft, enchanting spell. Solo Exhibition is proud to feature twelve (12) of Jan Piller’s works in its “Featured Works” gallery on RedBubble.com, September 7th – 13th, 2009, Monday – Sunday. Members and the public are invited to an open house reception for Jan all day Monday, September 7th, in the forum. Jan will pop in and out during the open house for questions and chat and probably be more available in the evening. While at the 1928 Costume Ball we had a new start up company there with their mascot and the beautifully restored vintage truck. The model works for the company as the PR and advertising rep. We took advantage of the night, the lighting and her being in costume to take this shot. I also photographed Shelby on this while she was in her consume so stay tuned as the company wants to make that one a poster. I should also note the logo for the company (the model) was drawn by one of the guy from Miami Ink.
