Cherry tree in fog with procession of sunflowers in foreground. Northern Michigan, December 2006. Reads: It is easy in the world to live after the world’s opinions; it is easy in solitude to live after your own; but the great man is he who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude. Ralph Waldo Emerson

The story: / The various physical and mental efforts required in the fulfillment of a design brief. The shirt: / Black Helvetica on Brown. There’s nothing that isn’t awesome about that. The possibilities: / A designer could wear this to a job interview and not have to say a word. Your non-designer friends at the pub will say “WTF?” whilst your designer friends will quietly nod in agreement. You can use it as instructions during a bout of creative block. Actually, it could be about any creative process really…

The perfect Tee for the designer in your life! Anyone who has seen a Pantone colour swatch should recognise this one. / The colour details are as close to the t-shirt colour as the Pantone Process Uncoated tables allow. Only available in Red at this stage (for obvious reasons!) (I should point out that the central panel is actually transparent – it’s just a white frame – so there’s no possibility of mismatch between the swatch and the t-shirt fabric colour. They’re both the same thing!)

High voltage power lines with a cross-processed effect.

THREE LADYS A good and very talented friend (Heather Schlüter) has painted this picture in Oil on canvas. I have taken a photograph and worked on of it. I have taken a photograph and exempted and designed for the pressure on T-shirts of the picture. A special filter lets it work in the large format as Oil on stone. Please always observe the copyright.
