Lino cut print / Artist’s Proof / 2007 Warthogs – you either love ‘em or you don’t. I love ‘em. I still remember the funniest sight of a warthog in Zimbabwe, gleefully running and jumping around, spinning itself in circles during a soft, summer rain shower.

This is a “Reduction Woodcut Print”, so its taken me lots of cutting of the wood to get it to this point. Printing over the top of the print about three times. This is the final result today. 223 Views on 30/11/09 I am in the process of downloading the wood that I cut this print out of so you can get an idea on how it works. / First you cut into the wood, keep printing what you have, then see where you need to cut more. It has taken me three weeks and three sessions in the print room to get to this point. This is one of about 20 prints, all of them individual and slightly different then the other.
