Linocut print on blue paper
Lino cuts that have been inked up intaglio and then relief and then a bit of a’la pupe, on avorio paper. They are all bleed prints also.
This was based on a portrait of someone I know. The sketch was whilst we were along the river Cam in Cambridge and the wind was blowing across her face. I also took some photos and combined the effect. The manga cartoons inspired me slightly on this one to make it more dramatic. / The medium is a Lino cut on paper.
Copper plate etching. This etching is a self portrait of myselsf with my son Jet. I have printed it on the press and than handpainted it with Ink.
