I’ve been back now for nearly 2 months, my holiday seems like something I did years ago now, and I still have about 2500 photos to go through but don’t seem to have the time or energy right now. I want to thank everyone for the sales too. It’s so incredibly exciting to get that little notification in my inbox to say I’ve sold something. Thank you to the buyers, whoever you are – it is much appreciated.. And what i’ve sold just recently?... 4 of these (cards) / 1 card of this.. / 1 card of this.. / and a mounted print today….. / I’m so pleased about the sale of the little blue penguin – they are gorgeous birds, and their feathers feel more like fur than feathers. It seems I have been away for months yet it is only a week or more! What the HELL has happened to bubble mails ô¿ô Thank you ever so much to the buyer who bought a matted print of Lorikeet, all monies to the Victorian Bushfire Fund. Also thank you to the four groups who featured works in my absence which I’ll add to my profile. I travelled by train to Victoria and experienced first hand the devastation of what the fire left behind. It is a vision I’ll remember for the rest of my life, a surreal surface of another planet surely? ... not ours. The fire claimed four lives & many houses leaving only chimney stacks & rubble at Wandong till the much prayed for ‘Elvis’ arrived. On the return trip the school kids had a huge banner along the front of the school “Thank you for saving our School”. I’m very, very proud to be an Australian. Tai xx
