Here is the latest photo collage, or rather a deviation of the original ‘Lost at Sea’. Although I liked the original I felt that there was something missing. The original photos are of the sea and sky at Dunwhich at the Suffolk Coast, UK. When I was hunting around for an ‘insect’ to include in the last collage, I came across the Luna Moth and thought it would be perfect for this collage to give it a focal point. I love the shape of it which reminds me of a manta ray. / I have also added additional textures. This now includes apart from the Abused Floors texture by One Cold Canadian used in the original the following textures: / - Grunge Textures by Buzillo / - Grunge & Dirty Textures by Redheadstock / - Rust Textures by TextureStockByHJS The Luna Moth which has been handpainted by me can be seen on my blog

Digital art inspired by my love of nature, trees, birds and of course, bright vivid color. Created in GIMP; layers upon layers of grungy textures, my own built library of digital colors and my own eagle brush I made myself by drawing and painting a bird, then scanning it, taking it to gimp and making it into a brush. (There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes of my works.) Most all of my digital pieces are 20 layers or MORE….some up to 50 layers (I’ve had one with around 70 layers in the past!), depending on the design and the effect I’m working to achieve.
