  • Another take on my Primordial image. This time some digital manipulation.

  • A long exposure taken before sunrise.

  • Opening the channels of energy so that your life force flows freely, is the basis of Primordial Sound. In Tantric tradition, the approach is like tuning the human instrument, so it may play a more enlightened song. Each chakra is believed to hold a primordial sound that opens and clears these vital energy centers. Using the power of your attention and intention dissolves the impurities that may limit the most clear expression of your life force. / Sit comfortably, focusing on each chakra (beginning at the Root), sequentially bringing your focus onto each and sounding aloud the mantra for that chakra. / Take a deep breath and release the sound for each chakra: / Root Chakra (base of spine – coccyx) – mantra LAM (red) / Sacral Chakra (abdomen) – mantra VAM (orange) / Solar Plexus (center, above belly button) – mantra RAM (yellow) / Heart Chakra (between breastbone) – mantra YAM (green) / Throat Chakra (indent/adam’s apple) – mantra HAM (torquoise/blue) / Third Eye Chakra (forehead between eyes) – mantra SHAM (indigo) / Crown Chakra (top of head) – mantra AUM (violet) / Release the sound as if it were emanating from that place in your body, allow the sounds to raise your energy levels. The pronunciation for all the mantras are similar to the sound of Ahhhh (when said in relief or a ‘how sweet’ sentiment. / This is an excerpt from my book ‘Beyond Symptoms’ and a daily practice that I was taught by Deepak Chopra and David Simon at their Center for Well Being in Carlsbad, California in 2002. • Of the more than 300 species of shark found in Australian waters, there are only a couple of species that are known to attack humans. Yet 2009 will surely go down in the history books as having a record number of shark attacks. / / This summer alone it seemed like every week there was another person emerging from the water with bits missing. Sometimes twice a week. That’s if they were lucky enough to come out of the water at all. / / And even though you are more likely to die of a bee sting, there are now cries to increase the quota of shark fishing to cull the populations that have been living in our coastal waters for millions of years. / / I think it’s important for us all to respect that the moment we step off the land and into the sea, we are out of our depth and are no longer at the top of the food chain. / / I’m doing this shirt to present the lighter side of these primordial creatures and point out that they aren’t menacing. They’re just hungry. / / /

  • Recently there’s been a spate of crocodile attacks here in Australia. / / Just last weekend, 11 year old Birony Goodsell was dragged underwater by one and never resurfaced. / / If feel deeply sorry for her and even worse for her family but for crying out loud, she was swiming in our most dangerous state, in a place called Black Jungle Swamp. / / That’s just asking for it. / / So now authorities are setting traps to catch and kill these so called ‘menacing’ crocodiles. / / Fair enough but I think it’s important for all of us to remember that we don’t own this planet. We share it with millions of other species and we have to learn and teach our children to respect them and their rights. / / I’m doing this shirt to present the lighter side of these primordial creatures and point out that they aren’t menacing. • *I shoot the strangest things when I’m bored… Tim was off chasing geese to photograph a few days ago, and I was sitting by the pond. As you can see, it’s a writer’s imagination gone amok yet again, as this is really only bubbles floating by on a stick and not the beginning of life as we know it. lol “I’ve often stood silent at a party for hours listening to my movie idols turn into dull and little people.” / ~Marilyn Monroe

  • Coastal landscape near Robe, South Australia. / Seaweed / Robe, South Australia

  • first of all , i must say that my english is too poor to really offer a satisfying writting about this this is a digital montage of an egg ( actually two eggs ) ,a nebulae , sunset over the ocean and ibis ( starring the chicken in this story ;)) / the red ibis is also symbolizing red state of the stone some alchemists used to call the chicken ’s house “egg” which is the first chicken or egg ? - in this image , you can see an egg containing a bird (lets say its a chicken ) , himself containing an egg i tried to illustrate the idea of continuum in universe creation if egg could have been the first ,it has been laid by a creature , close the the hen but not totally evoluate as the one we know / or the egg ,could have been the first one to give birth a hen (chicken ) as we know it / with , for example , genetic mutation how about black holes ? now , the hen prior to egg , ? i think that above lines answer partly to it anyway , if we consider that level of evolution of egg and chicken are not the same , there is no more paradoxe all this is passionating thinking and debate would never end , / but i know so few about it that i rely on my imagination to give me an image i can understand so ,i go back to my own creative egg and hope something great will come today :) to the question why did the chicken crossed the road ” ? i searched on the net i found a very nice site with lots of answers to choose from / very clever , very funny !!! after long hesitation ,i choosed this one because it is closed to my first attempt of answer in the first part loll Albert Einstein: Whether the chicken crossed the road or the road crossed / the chicken depends upon your frame of reference. WHY DID THE CHICKEN CROSS THE ROAD?
