This was taken when I was at Ponce DeLeon springs this past weekend. Took a pontoon boat ride to see the wild life and take photo’s. This is an actual home of one of the few people that live along the river. They were there before the park was built so they were gran-fathered in and are able to live on their property along the St. Johns River. They are better known as river rats. / Taken with a Nikon D700 (my new baby) f/ 9.0 1/1250 ISO 2200 70-300mm @ 300mm

Taken on the Smith Springs Trail of Guadalupe Mountain National Park. After Getting to the top of the trail by the springs came across this friend following the same trail. We actually didn’t see him at first, he was big enough that we heard him coming up through the leaves. Well kids, moral of this story is, a centipede will fuck you up!!! Watch your feet in the woods.
