I will not wait at the window for my father / I will not wait in the kitchen for my lover
In all things strive for the middle road. Your alter ego today should be the Mediator, whose superpower for negotiation lies in your innate ability to create the right chemistry within a particular situation. You are a continual work in progress. Strive for equality, balance and compatibility—driven by your innate sense of fairness. This provides a certain degree of predictability in your actions, and is your recipe for success. As in all things truly worthwhile in life, love is an art, sketched and painted atop a canvas of mutual respect. Such a foundation allows only for the occasional brush stroke to cover a mixed message or misunderstanding, and avoid use of the paint roller. Take it one day at a time, valuing all things with such an openness as to provide not only the proper balance, but to allow for proper action when needed. / / -Our friend, Hilary

RAGING MAMMATUS Raging Mammatus clouds moving into my area on Good Friday before Easter. These amazing clouds changed into so many different, brilliant shades as they danced before the setting sun. I am blessed to have actually witnessed such rage and beauty! The Storms Prediction Center (SPC) in Norman, Oklahoma had issued the second TORNADO WATCH of the year for our area in northeastern Kentucky. At first I could not behold my eyes as these beautiful Mammatus clouds began to make their grand entrance in the skies overhead! At first they were a “brilliant” white with silver rings around them, then they changed into hues and shades of gray, silver, blue, pink and purple as they entered before the setting sun. This was the most spectacular sight of Mammatus I have ever seen before; I have hundreds of pictures of Mammatus, but nothing as striking as these in my collections! As a Stormchaser as well as a Photographer, I must add that even a Tornado could not have been as fabulous and exciting as these Raging Mammatus clouds were that very day!! Various pictures of these Mammatus clouds I shot on Good Friday, right before Easter, have been shown on National television here in the USA, and one of them won an international award. A few of these have been selected and placed in several photographic anthologies and distributed world-wide.

Taken with my Canon 50D, Sigma 17-70 lens at 17 mm, F11, shutter speed 4.5 seconds, ISO100, edited in Photoshop & Photomatix Taken near near Keld, Yorkshire Dales East Gill Force is a waterfalls in Swaledale, 300 metres to the east of the hamlet of Keld, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, North Yorkshire, England. The falls are located on East Gill at grid reference NY896012, just before its confluence with the River Swale at the point where the Pennine Way and the Coast to Coast Walk intersect. The falls are a popular spot for visitors, not just long distance walkers but also families and picnickers because of the close proximity of the road. East Gill Force has two main torrents: the upper falls have an impressive 4.5 metre drop while the lower section is a series of stepped cascades that fall three metres as East Gill enters the River Swale.

TVS STORM CELL / Best viewed large. / / On June 4, 2008, a “severe weather outbreak” occurred in the USA. This is another record of that event, and the SPC had placed my area under a “MODERATE RISK” for severe storms with possible tornadoes. / / This is an actual tornadic storm cell that was spinning on NEXRAD RADAR on June 4, 2008. Earlier this same system produced a TVS (tornado vortex signature) and was noted by trained Spotters to have rotation. This event occurred approximately 25-30 minutes before the storms reached my area in NE Kentucky. Fortunately for me, the system turned just due south only minutes after the TVS was spotted! / / According to the Storms Prediction Center, 461 total damage reports were confirmed that day, and 56 reports were of tornadoes. A “severe weather outbreak” affected most of the Midwest and the Ohio Valley, and traveled due east all the way to the eastern coast. / / Unfortunately there was a single fatality reported on that day. A motorist in Fairfax County, Virginia was struck by a large tree that crashed into her vehicle as it was moving. / / For more information, go to STORMS PREDICTION CENTER / For information on the lone fatality, go to ONE KILLED AS STORMS MOVE THROUGH AREA

Bosnian people call this type of tombstone “stechak” (stečak). “Stechak” is always made of stone. This stechak is unique and its one of three miracles in this area as stay on three pebbles. I checked that and its true. Its very easy visible that tombstone lay on 3 pebbles.
