No more than 7 or 8 years old, this girl is one of many making some money selling trinkets out of a cardboard box in the main street of Luang Prabang, Laos. / She chats confidently in French with three guys at a restaurant table, accepting offers of food and passing them to her younger sister. They buy some dolls from her and she moves to another couple where she chats confidently in English. / If she is the future of Laos, it’s in pretty good hands…

Self Portrait This photo was taken in Laos, at the beautiful waterfalls near a town called Luang Provang. the figure in the picture is me, this spot looked interesting to me so I showed my friend the exact poze i want her to take the picture. and that’s how it turned out. The sun going down made me look like a silhouette, and i think that this is what makes this photo unique. best viewed large
