I don’t usually do IR shots with people or animals, but this horse was kind enough to stay still for me for 2 seconds. ......................................................................................................... Bored in a stable with nothing to do. / We make a game of throwing our shoes. / Lead me to water, but not to the track. / Show me a saddle and I’ll say, “Hey get off my back.” / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) hay. / We’re gonna graze all of our days. / Until they take us away and turn us into glue. / Like Mr. Ed always said… May the horse be with you. May the horse be with you. / May the Horse be with you everyday. / I trot by the fillies (they like me of course). / They all dig my band (yea I’m a rocking horse). / You gotta take off your spurs to ride me you know. / If you want me to stop then yell out “Whoa”. / All in favor (all in favor) say “Nay!” / We like the flavor of (we like the flavor of) ha / .............................. Enjoy! _
Actually just idling the time away with this one. Trying some new techniques (failing and succeding, failing and succeding). Before you know it, you’ve lost 2 hours! :)

Taken from near where I live after the big downpour we had last night/this morning in Brisbane. This one is little different and I thought it looked rather intriguing. (now with a tight crop)
A shirt with a power line design.
Driving along the highway, on the way to the mountains. This was taken with a point & shoot in the spring of 2007. In-camera black & white.
I have seven different photos all on their own layers withs masks for blending. I doubled many of the layers and used the film grain filter and vivid light and hue saturation, Alos created much of the storm effects with the brush tool.
Watch the Video Here Show me, show me, show me / How you do that trick / ‘The one that makes me scream,’ she said / ‘The one that makes me laugh,’ she said / And threw her arms around my neck / ‘Show me how you do it / And I promise you, I promise that / I’ll run away with you / I’ll run away with you…’ Spinning on that dizzy edge / I kissed her face and kissed her head / And dreamed of all the different ways / I had to make her glow / ‘Why are you so far away?’ she said / ‘Why won’t you ever know that I’m in love with you, / That I’m in love with you?’ You / Soft and only / You / Lost and lonely / You / Strange as angels / Dancing in the deepest oceans / Twisting in the water, you’re just like a dream / Just like a dream Daylight licked me into shape / I must have been asleep for days / And moving lips to breathe her name / I opened up my eyes / I found myself alone / Alone / Alone above a raging sea / That stole the only girl I loved / And drowned her deep inside of me You / Soft and only / You / Lost and lonely / You / Just like heaven The Cure
Taken from my front lawn (well till Wednesday when we move) in Cannon Hill, Brisbane, Australia – this was the third massive storm in 3 days that has broken rainfall records in Brisbane for the most rainfall in November since 1981. The media claims it is the worst flooding since the infamous 1974 Brisbane flood – en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1974_Brisbane_flood Once the storm passed I headed out from my safe haven on the front deck to find this amazing cloud spewing out lightning. I was out shooting a spot in the area when I saw the storm coming in the distance, so I waited and got a few shots and then rain came. I managed to get past McDs on Wynnum Road into the industrial area to put the full beam on to see where I was headed. Just as I passed Cannon Hill station the hail started and I got in the garage just as it hammered down. I must thank the neighbours for the light trails.
Explore – Highest – Nov 20, 2008 #16 Another storm photo from Brisbane from last night (Nov 20th). The water laps up to the road almost at the moment. So to avoid getting fried, I decided to set the shutter on remote and get the right exposure. Then fire it and run out of the water to the car. This was taken shortly before a few drops of rain came. I knew then I had a few mins to get in the car quickly. Then came the heavy rain, just making it home before the hail! BEST viewed large on BLACK

For my dear Friend Lisa G / Thank you for your kindness, strength and friendship in times that felt a part of me was missing. You came in brave and wild to show me a mirror of my own self. We seemed to have been sent to each other by heavens orders, as the heavens do love us surely. / XXX. Your Pearls We were waiting together / The lines of communication were all out / Wired up to find the sound of hearts like our own / Grey matter silver lined clouds / Amassing in the south / Waiting it seemed to rain on our parade. However, we then looked toward each other / Our peaceful conversation seemed endless / And In our connection / There grew a peerless strength / Within each of us as we remembered / the world was our oyster. / It was then I began to feed you the pearls you were wearing / You took each one with a sensual understanding I cannot / quite describe except to say / I was in awe / My hands touched your skin like raw silk / Smiling you said you liked the itch of remembering with hands like mine / You liked the connection / As did I / And soon we forgot / How painful growing up can be.
