  I was meandering thru my dearest Co-Creator and friend TeriLee’s work / and found on the top ..thank god, one of my favs she wrote a while back…Which inspired me to write this little didy.. both of our pieces about True Love and loss via / the Real American Way!!! Quid Pro Quo and the Fake Leg / TeriLee Harvey was in love / She didn’t want much to do with him / Until an accident took her leg / He told her he loved her / She snubbed him / He began to beg / She figured she would settle / Because of her mishap / She had a prosthetic limb / She decided to marry Harvey / The odds of finding a “good man” / Were looking pretty dim / She tried to make him what she wanted / No more drinkin’ / No more smokin’ / No more late nights at Grizzly’s pub / He could never be good enough / But his love for her was undaunted / She turned his ranch house in to a show place / She told him to say “Hello” / “Howdy Ya’ll” was not allowed / His music was a waste / His friends were all too raw / She needed a more sophisticated crowd / But the morning she threw his dog out the door / Well…..that was that / Harvey could take no more / His wife, he begged for all her love / Went over a cliff / With one gentle shove / Her leg he still holds dearly / For the love they could have had / That has ended / But now he sees things clearly / There was so much more / That she could have loved him for / So he drilled a hole in her big toe / He turned her leg into a bong / Smoked a bowl and sang this song / “Goodbye my sweet, / It was a treat, / Too bad you had to go / But, you forgot… / Quid pro quo”

  this is a collaboration with Red / who is a huge inspiration to me as of late and this work sprang out of a conversation we had in bubble mail and the work we both embrace of allowing life to shine through words and our Beingness.. A Nature that has no label nor calls itself anything but Love. This is from Reds bio.. and may help explain the meaning of the Title and word Zir. “Below are some Gender Neutral Pronouns. If you do not know what Gender Neutral means please look it up on Google. I know it is hard to realize that their are more than two genders and sexes in the world. The most popular gender neutral pronoun are “zie, zir, zir, zirs, zirself”. Also GENDER has NOTHING to do with SEXUALITY. They are two very different things.” well.. to quote one of Reds recent replies that blew me away … “I am a human being. Full stop. And also why do I have to “define” myself. For who??? I already know who I am. Also the buddhists would say we are all “dust on the wind”. Also my writing stands ON ITS OWN.. I am not here for other people, my writing is here for other people.”

  GOOD GOD.. / I allowed myself to see a documentery called “The Union: The Business Behind Getting High (2007)” and what a doozy.. It never ceases to amaze me how the stupidity of our far right thinking gets us. We spent more money on arresting and finding growers of marijuana and building jail after jail to house the arrest of these growers and distributors than we do on all the heroin, crack cocaine, meth labs ect all the hard drugs participants combine!! Did you know before 1930’s Hemp was forseen back then as a billion dollar industry!! BACK THEN.. billions of dollars is like now trillions..Holy Cow.. will we ever get out from under our own stupidity and become ENLIGHTENED!! Just for a minuet I find peace in my week and in the mood for allowing for all that is in the contrast of life… and the next I watch something that is sooooooooooo crazy and thought-provoking like the money being made in the building of private prisons.. oh my yikes…. then… WELL THANK GOD FOR Unconventional Artistry GROUP AND THE AMAZING HOSTS… / CHEYWINGS AND EARTHMONSTER / SENDING OUT WORD that I had been given the complete honor of being their featured artist this go round and an invitation to view my lastest work LIMBER TRULY ..   There is much I have been given here at Red Bubble. I am passionate about exposing where I get inspiration from when It comes from one of you. / Billyboy as of late left a comment on one of my pieces (a tribute to two inspired artists) called / Pelican for T.C. and David Friederich I was so in awe of his comment and it’s poetic value, I took the flavor of the comment and made it into a Collab. We are both present for this and the end result is that both of us did indeed intend this to be as it is in it’s finished form. I have taken time to learn a bit more on how to be more useful and sincere when writing comments to others. I do not do it always as time for me does not seem to allow for such involved writing, however I see with new eyes as I receive such amazing lessons from one such as he. Thank you Billy, you have been a huge part of my growth here at RB as an artist, via seeing with new eyes and ways to express my joy as Creator and Co-Creator. Flying Meditation /
