  My theme: ‘Low fat’ photography? Redbubble (and other places not be named) is full of glorious, highly saturated, pin-sharp photography – a lot of it is very good and sometimes it can be ‘awesome’ (although I think this word loses its meaning if overused). / But do you ever get tired of all that excess? Do the highly coloured and sharpened images sometimes make you think of that calender that you got from the garage at christmas? Here is my antidote – nine images where the colour and resolution may be set to low but the emotion and concept are full-on. Hope you enjoy them too. CP :)

  A guy called Colin Powell did the featured selection a few days ago – I hadn’t noticed ;) – and my image “Dandelion Glow” was among his selection. It’s an old image so I was really surprised to see people had added it to their favourites suddenly one day. It’s been a bit mad ever since so I’m sure I’ve probably missed responding to some comments either by a visit to their gallery or a direct reply. If that’s you, and even if I did mange to keep up in your case, I would just like to thank you all for your visits, comments, watches and faves. And a big thank you to Colin Powell for including one of mine in his selection :) Ann :)

  It is quite possible that I just returned from a vacation, if that is what it is called. :) I spend the last weekend with my family and my wonderful mother-in-law. We traveled south thru Utah to Lake Powell. Friday we played at the lake then Friday night we stayed in a super cool cottage style motel in Hanksville, UT. Saturday we headed north again thru a couple state parks. Of course I took about a thousand pictures and I am 4 days behind on my addiction to redbubble and everyones work but it was a great trip! Now I am back with some fabulous photos and a lot of catch up to do!

  I will be heading up to Antelope Canyon and the surrounding area for a commercial shoot and would love input on some of the better places and times to shoot some of the slot canyons while there??? Any suggestions?
