  • Kitten pounces and pins an insect in the grass.

  • This amazing animal was photographed on a safari in the Serengeti, Tanzania. We were lucky he let us get so close but was ready to either pounce or retreat at any moment, thus the very keen eye on the lens. Beautiful creature!!

  • Actually, we were playing Fetch—and I spent half the day throwing that stick into the river to get this shot!

  • They were having soo much fun, it was great to watch

  • 7/I saw this red fox waiting by the edge of a field with one of its cubs (I assume it was as it was about 2/3rds the size of the adult). The hay in the field had been cut and was laying in piles ready to be gathered. After a short while the cub disappeared from view in to the hedgerow you can see in the background. Over the next forty minutes I watched the fox hunting in the field, watching and listening intently for mice and voles hiding in the hay. Just before this shot the fox froze and then leapt in to the air. Ten minutes later it repeated the routine, even closer to where I was standing. Both times I got shots of it in mid air, but unfortunately the second time ( and by far the best shot) was slightly out of focus, probably due to the narrow DOF. • A Chocolate Lab and water go together like a horse and carriage. This happy puppy took more than one plunge in the pond chasing that tennis ball. I think the owner tired long before he did.                     Captured in Ottawa, Ontario. © Todd Weeks

  • This little guy, Humphrey, and his brother, Bugsy, have been quite the entertaining addition to our farmhouse porch. :) Too bad they grow up, eh?! They’re so CUTE at this stage!

  • It was so nice outside yesterday with almost record high temps. for this time of year so I went out and let my four little goats loose in the hay meadow and sat there taking photos. Here I was laying on the ground trying to get a photo of Whitey’s face and nothing but blue sky and my little Thumbelina jumped on top of me not a second after this photo was taken. She was like “Oh, wow momma you are laying there for me to bounce on.”
