Having spent too many days exploring and photographing London, I decided to get out into the Countryside and do a few rural landscapes. I chose to shoot in Buckinghamshire. The late afternoon spring sunshine washes across the slopes suurounding this tiny, ancient, still occupied cottage is in a hamlet called Lee Common. It has no road leading up to it, no driveway and nowhere to keep a car. I must surely be one of the last houses in the UK to sit as it does in the middle of beautiful parkland, surrounded by grazing sheep. If you like this image, it was shot just yards from here: Canon 10D / 1/80th sec at f 8.0 / Sigma 15-30mm lens at 30mm / ISO 100 Slight adjustments in Lightroom and yes, the grass really IS that colour!

...freedom to roam today am going out for a walk in the beautiful countryside and enjoy Mother nature..and get some horse hugs and kisses from the old gentleman and as he gently lowers his head and blows softly through his nostrils, I cuddle him and think what a joy he is this old stallion….. .beautiful day .River Waveney .Norfolk Broads UK..NRDC .....Solved by maebelle .Save Endangered Wildlife and Wild Places….A first experimental composite using photographs I took at the Norfolk broads UK…enhanced the photos using redfield fractallius plug-in thenlayered the horse onto the landscape blended in /added the birds/tweaked it up in photoshop/corel.featured in ‘Digital brushstrokes’ ....!
