She arises early in the morning, Combing her hair, insert her hat, Catches her steady position, In the square of the market place Always smile sardonically, Not once sold anything (as they say), Always dressed pretty cloth (somehow…) Not even one understood how….... I saw her in Maasstricht, (city located in Netherlands, capital of the Limburg province) I use to buy from her something, each Monday, ones someone told me that she always curses me In her special language…......why? She did not want to sell at all….........:) I was so pitied her…......

Catfish is my cat! I found him swimming in Tampa Bay. He was only about six inches long (A kitten) when I found him, Catfish is a Manx (Tail-less Cat) I don’t know how he got in the bay were he was found, there was nobody around for miles and there is a nine foot sea wall there. I think Catfish fell from the sky! ....I think a shark got his tail too!

This pencil drawing came after I saw the same study done by the great American commercial artist Norman Rockwell. It was a practice sketch and paid for itself in the learning. Due to possible copyright infringement, I’ll not make this image for sale.
