This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I’ve combined them for a rich summer night shot. / /

This painting was fun as it was the first time I have tried used a spatula. / Can you find the fish? / I love painting over and over the canvas so you get unexpected bits.

The Giraffe, or Giraffa camelopardalis, is the largest of all land living animals. They average in weight at 1,191 kilograms (2,630 lb), and can grow to 5.2 metres (17 ft) tall.. They are related to the Deer, and graze using their long necks in the treetops, and prefer acacia growth. Canon 50D, 50mm. Available Large :)

18×24 acrylic on canvas I painted this one for The Divine Feminine’s challenge “Loving Ladies”. This is my favorite goddess of Love, Lakshmi. This is not your traditional painting of Lakshmi, for instance, I didn’t give her 4 arms. But I think it captures her beauty and femininity. Lakshmi is also the goddess of beauty and wealth. She is kind of like the goddess of the law of attraction. In truth, Lakshmi teaches us to accept our beauty and to find true happiness in the realization of the abundance of our soul. My daughter Sarah showed me a snap that her friend took of her doing a wet hair flick and I thought what a great idea. Around fifty attempts later on a balmy summers evening at Somers beach, I finally got the shot I wanted, it nearly killed her…..oh well the sacrifices I have to make. / I shot this on my Canon 30D, I just could not risk my new 5D MK11 in chest deep water.

This image of my wife and daughter, Was he only print in the history to score a perfect “100” score from all juges at the “PPof O” and “PPof A” print competition. The print was also slected to be displayed in the International Traveling Loan Collection, the “Epcot Center” and “The International Professional Photographers Hall of Fame” exhibit. I can vividly remember hyper ventalating and almost passing out when I saw the print scores being displayed during judging. The highlight of my photography career.
