This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I’ve combined them for a rich summer night shot. / /

My daughter Ozlynn (2 1/2) fell asleep in the sun yesterday & was just looking too perfect, so I started snapping away! Its much easier to get these kind of shots when they’re babies, so this was a real treat! I just love this picture! This is an image created to illustrate an environmental portrait of an old camera called a “speed graphic”... the whole scene is meant to tell a story of a time when this camera was in use. I hope you enjoy this marvelous piece of photographic history. They both told me that they didn’t like this picture but she let me post it anyway…......I’m not sure why they don’t like it??? maybe you know????LOL …..give it to me straight ;) This was layered with another photo.
