This shot was taken from the Destin Harbor – Destin, FL. The sunset cruises were coming in for the evening. This is one of the sunset cruises that I caught coming back into the harbor. I saturated the pinks in post processing to give it a nice glow. / / Click on the buy/preview button to see the many RedBubble print options for this photo.
Based and derived from a collection of early 20th century postcards from France. Improvised a slightly different mirror frame design and table design than originally shown. 9×12 Pencils: 6h, B, 3B, white charcoal.
This is the man behind the camera. You can’t have pretty subjects all the time, life is not perfect.
Taken April 14, 2006 with a Fuji E-510 (as shown in the reflection :P). I took this while I was on top of Sulfer Mountain in Banff National Park (Banff, Alberta, Canada) during the winter. There was a little cabin, and it’s interior can be seen inside my reflection in the window. Meanwhile the outdoor activity outside the cabin is reflected around my body. Looking back at this it sorta reminds me of the painting by Edouard Manet “A Bar at the Folies-Bergere” where the world the bar tendor is looking down on is reflected in the mirror behind her. Although not intended, many stories can be interpreted from this; and whatever that maybe, I’ll leave that up to the viewer :) This work has been featured in: / Weekly Them Challenges Actually it’s a funny story; I entered my work into that group to enter it into the Cameras challenge, and it was approved only after the voting had already started. Seeing as this particular group approves work based on the challenges it’s a bit strange that happened. Well I decided to let that go; it wasn’t a big deal. But two days after the challenge closed this work got featured among with the top ten :o)

Me taking a photo of me and my Canon 300D in my Subaru wagon’s mirror at Apollo Bay earlier this year. Hoping to get a Canon 40D in the next couple of months after Kevin gives me my tax back! As you can see I was/am a big fan of Lance Armstrong and watched all of his 7 tour wins unfold late at night. My tip for this year’s tour is Cadel, who else? Colour was desaturated in Lightroom and then desaturated the remaining yellow parts in Photoshop, enjoy!

9×12 Graphite/White Charcoal. My interpretation of Christoffer Wilhelm Eckersberg 1841 oil painting “Woman Standing in Front of a Mirror.”
Vector portrait of a beautiful young brunettes nude sitting on a mirror-like surface
The wind was non-existent at times leaving the Nerang River like glass on the rising tide. While the fish are still biting from here, I’ll keep returning in the afternoon to fish the sunset. Hard life – isn’t it? Might put one more up from today as the colours did change around sunset
Vector background with beautiful young nude brunettes and sun
This is a multi-layered composite. I used Portrait Professional to fine-tune skin color and then did everything else with CS4. I used four of my own textures, used the beautiful model from hypoxia stock@ DeviantArt and added a mask and handwriting for a touch of intrigue. This is one of my favourites…...done in oils!
A visit to Melbourne’s original art gallery, The Victorian Art Centre, reaped some rewards. Disappointed by a lack of photography on display, I utilized the watery window facade of the gallery to create a ghostly moment of this obliging model. This model is featured in my new Model Portfolio book, “Once… Twice…. Three times a Lady”. A full preview of the book can be found by following the link below. AVAILABLE Now!
