Scanned with an Epson V700. / Was the first time to go on tour just with the Hassy, because i got my meter a day before, i stood there, with almost no guess about how to use it, but as you can see, it worked (and a guy asked me what the thing in my hand is, i aswered “its a lightmeter” he said ” oh how professional” i made a strange face and said ” jeah, at least it looks professional, i´m not quite sure how to use it” we went away with a grin on our faces..

  • New Yorks oldest Punk-Store, open since the 60´s and very friendly Staff, the Girl on the image is Brandy, i asked her if i could shot some Images of her Standing in Front of the Shop, sadly i just had 2 exposures left on my Film, and it was the last roll in my bag. I Had to go wide open so the image isn´t awesome sharp, but i like it anyway. / It´s shot on Kodak Portra 160 NC, b&w conversion via photoshop.

  • Model – Bianca Older work, early 2007 I thiiiiink… eh. / Nikon F2A + Portra 160vc veeery expired, took a lot of work to bring it back to life! Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

  • Model – Millie Claire / MUA – Cloe Bunter of Makeup by Cloe Pentacon Six TL + Kodak Portra 160VC / I won’t show the digital versions, seems to have caused a little friction on dA ;) Needless to say if you’re familiar with the original Snow White text, you might just know what this is about :D Melbourne’s Parklands have very photogenic footpaths. I believe this was shot in the Queen Vic Park… I dunno, it was hot and there were a LOT of parks. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

  • Model – Tayla Louise Pentacon Six TL + Kodak Portra 160VC / Shot in Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges back in January during a ridiculously bad Summer. But then she got to spend half the time in the water or the shade whilst I sweated my face off and went purple and DIED, so who says I don’t take care of my models? / Alternative version of this image can be seen on my dA site here Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

  • Model – Meluxine These are some outtake/alternates from the same shoot as Apple Blossom Girl – I actually took LOTS of shots from that set and am having strife picking the final shots to use, and since I treat RB as an alt/outtake spot as well as a preview/never before seen/standard portfolio, I figured what the hell ;) This particular pair were shot on my late Grandfather’s Ensign Selfix 820 on god knows what film, Fuji NPS 160 I thiiiiink… or possibly Portra 400NC. I had no idea what to expect, having never put film through the damn thing before, so the fact they worked and looked delightfully dreamy was very cool. These are scanned from the 120 neg, straight off the camera – no editing aside from putting them next to each other and whacking my watermark on them. Woohoo. You can read about the camera here: http://licm.org.uk/livingImage/Selfix820.html Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas
