Photo taken last week when the QE2 docked in Melbourne at Station Pier for it’s last visit before retiring, on the otherside of the Pier is the Spirit Of Tasmania ready to depart.

Photo of one of the Beacons at Port Melbourne this one is in the water between both Station and Princess Piers, the other is inland and in line with this one. The sea was fairly calm when this was taken.

This is the other Beacon at Port Melbourne as you can see it’s inland and a park behind it and houses around, but this is inline with the one in the water both have their lights on so ships still use these in some way to navigate.
