This is one of several structures that make up the Water Works. It is located on the banks of the Schuylkill River near the famous “Boat House Row” of Philadelphia. Just behind and up the hill from the Water Works is the Philadelphia Museum of Art - made famous in the “Rocky” movies because the many steps in front make a great training tool - similar to running the bleachers.

This is the beautiful portico of the castle, the place where carriages and later motor cars would have parked under to be protected from the elements while visiting guest disembarked their vehicles to head into the household.

This was taken in a London square not far from the British Museum. I was waiting for a friend to finish a phone call and liked the way I could look down the street through all the porches.

This painting is of the view I saw walking through the portico of the convent building adjoining the San Felipe de Neri church. The cactus was not in bloom at the time, so I added those in for more color. This is located in Old Town, Albuquerque, New Mexico. All proceeds from this work are to be donated to the Philadelphia Mission to feed, clothe, and provide medicine and education to the starving children in Africa.
