In the dying light of the day this crumbling ruin at Port Arthur blazes with a little of its former glory.
500+ views. The old Port Willunga Jetty was taken at dusk at Port Willunga Beach, South Australia, Australia. This is my favourite beach in SA. Photoshop used to enhance the colour of the sunset with colour balance and filters. This was taken on a tripod using F32, 10 second exposure, ISO 200 and 75mm lens. This was taken using a Canon DSLR EOS 350D. This shot was featured in the Timber and Water Group.
This was a photo taken at Quiet Corner in Black Rock at sunset.

The warm glow of the setting sun is reflected on the landward side of the Point Lonsdale lighthouse, on a cold, windy Winter’s afternoon. Two different shots of the same lighthouse at either ends of the day.
Newcastle’s fantastic little harbour with a sunset show courtesy of nature itself.
The view looking back down the Hunter River from Nobby’s Beach to the inner city of Newcastle, New South Wales. This scenery later inspired my poem called On A Warm Night In Spring
A sunrise of this immense beauty is a true rarity and I am thrilled to be able to share this with the redbubble community! The photo shows the beach in downtown Port Orford, Oregon near our home, with the color-bathed waves of the Pacific rolling ashore and the misted coastal mountains silhouetted against the gorgeous morning sky. The photo is unedited and reflects the intense colors and spectacular scenery exactly as it was witnessed! (Nikon D700, Nikkor DX 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 ED Lens, Settings f/4.5, 1/80th, ISO 200, 40 mm)
Sunset over Garrison Lake and the Pacific. Garrison Lake is located in the coastal community of Port Orford, a small fishing village on the southern Oregon coast. The lake is separated by a narrow strip of dune, beyond which lies the Pacific Ocean. The rocks on the horizon (better viewed at full size) are sea stacks of the Orford Reef, which are approximately 5 miles out to sea.
A drainage pipe leeking at sunset on the Sandringham foreshore. This area is being renourished by Bayside City Council to help stabilise the foreshore cliffs which are being eroded by wave action and stormwater emanating from the car park above. As soon as I took this photo the guys on the constuction equipment came over and started working on it maybe because of the low tide. Taken with my Canon 40D and 10-22mm wide angle lens with Polarising, Grad and ND4 Cokin Filters. Didn’t really have to do anything to the photo apart from remove some spots, I think it’s time for a sensor clean!
