Wine barrels at Sevenhill Winery, Clare, South Australia
The last remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, South Australia. Port Willunga Beach was recently named as the only Australian location in ‘Travel and Leisure’ magazine – hip travel list of emerging destinations. This is still one of my favourite locations to photograph and is only a 40 minute drive south of Adelaide. Pentax *ist DS – DSLR. Also available:

800 views. This is Port Willunga Jetty in mono. Taken at Port Willunga, South Australia, Australia at sunset. I was going for a high key type image. This was taken on a tripod, no flash, f25, ISO 200, 1.3 sec exposure with a Canon DSLR EOS 350D. I was so fortunate to sell, on redbubble, a large mounted print of this work, with the white border and artist’s details, to a good friend, Nathan. Thank you so much.

This was painted from a sketch and photograph back home after returning while travelling on a healing journey from Qld to Alice Springs in 2002 Instead of going on a ‘proper;’holiday after a traumatic few years I decided I just had to see the Centre of our beautiful country …so …we just jumped into the car, 4×4 and slept in the back ,cooking with one frypan over a small gas fire rested on the tailboard ,most times I slept on the ground next to the car bcause i didn’t like being confined. Luckily no mozzies appeared. A Gum Tree for Shallay
Port Willunga Jetty. My first attempt at long exposure with water.. This was taken on a tripod, f/22, ISO 100, 5 sec exposure, no flash. One of THE very best beaches in the world.. ok so im little bias .. but it is a pretty special place!
Caves cut into the face of the cliff at Port Willunga for boats that used to ply the area. Quite old and match the age and deterioration of the old jetty timbers that still remain on the beach. Canon 400D fixed 50 F 1.8 lens. Converted to B&W in Photoshop CS3.

Coastal panorama looking off from the cliffs at port MacDonnell, Limestone Coast, South Australia. Wonderful Limestone cliffs in this area looking over brilliant aqua colours. Four shot stitch in Photoshop CS3. Canon 400D 18-55 with polarising filter.
Late evening, bold sky and silhouetting the remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, Port Willunga, South Australia. A favourite spot for photographers and it is rare to visit on a night without running into others with cameras!!! Canon 400D 18-55 lens with CIR Polarising filter. Converted in Photoshop CS3.
Late afternoon at Port Willunga South Australia. Looking out towards the setting sun through the remains of the Old Jetty structure. Not overly sure about the colours here, strange evening with orange red clouds and just dark enough to get a slight amount of motion in the foreground. Canon 400D, 18 -55 lens, CIR Polarising filter coupled with an ND4. Wet legs and a wet tripod, standing out in the water trying to avoid waves!!!!!!
The beautiful arch that is no more. This image was taken in 2007 at the area known as Lochard Gorge along our Great Ocean Road. Shortly after this the heavens opened, and the roads were closed. / Canon 30d 17-85mm lens / Grad ND filter / F8 and 1/60 sec
Another beautiful jetty in OZ – at a glorious time of day. / This is my postcard for all my friends at home…”Wish You Were Here!!” Canon 50D / Sigma 10-20 mm f/4.0-5.6 / Raw file converted FEATURED in SEA, August 2009 / FEATURED in Mornings/Evenings, November 2009
