  • Docking at various Greek Islands, I could’nt tear myself away from the actual ports, as to me they provided the visual interest. Awesome signage and colour coded curbs, along with industrial qualities proved and endless escape for me.

  • Another stop at a Greek Port, Cofru I think… I love the fact we dock at these industrial ports, there is just so much to see and take in… my kind of landscape for sure.

  • The last remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, South Australia. Port Willunga Beach was recently named as the only Australian location in ‘Travel and Leisure’ magazine – hip travel list of emerging destinations. This is still one of my favourite locations to photograph and is only a 40 minute drive south of Adelaide. Pentax *ist DS – DSLR. Also available:

  • This shot was taken on an overcast and rainy day at Flynn’s Beach in Port Macquarie.. I had to take a shot as the colour of the water was a very nice blue-green.. I was also happy with the way I captured the wave crashing on the rocks offshore.

  • Image of a male Australian Fur Seal(Arctocephalus pusillus),taken at Popes Eye Marine Park,Port Phillip Bay,Victoria. There was a colony of seals in the area many very inquisitive, this big fella got closer than I would have liked a few times.I was fortunate to observe males play fighting & asserting there dominance by slapping there fins on the water & then attacking each other, dont know whether it was stupid to be in amongst it but it sure was one of those magical moments in diving. © Copyright M.Tworkowski

  • Oshie, a rescue dog, checks out the beach during a beautiful sunrise on the beach in Port Orford, Oregon. Oshie is a shepherd mix who loves to run on the beach… and roll in unidentifiable dead things that she finds. She somehow became unwanted by her former owner when she was only about a year old. Yet she is such a wonderful dog! Nikon D200 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5 zoom lens at 18mm. 1/60th, f/4.0, ISO250 Added to the RedBubble Featured Gallery 08-Feb-2009

  • Late evening, bold sky and silhouetting the remains of the old Port Willunga jetty, Port Willunga, South Australia. A favourite spot for photographers and it is rare to visit on a night without running into others with cameras!!! Canon 400D 18-55 lens with CIR Polarising filter. Converted in Photoshop CS3.

  • Late afternoon at Port Willunga South Australia. Looking out towards the setting sun through the remains of the Old Jetty structure. Not overly sure about the colours here, strange evening with orange red clouds and just dark enough to get a slight amount of motion in the foreground. Canon 400D, 18 -55 lens, CIR Polarising filter coupled with an ND4. Wet legs and a wet tripod, standing out in the water trying to avoid waves!!!!!!

  • Under the pier at Cowes, Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia at Dawn. Taken at the same time as Beginning of a new day for something a little bit different. It was pretty chilly, windy and way too early in the morning for me, it’s amazing how much lens distortion you get with a wide angle lens! / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. • This little gem can be found just around the corner from Loch Ard Gorge near Port Campbell off Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, Australia. I came here the afternoon before and there were snap happy tourists everywhere but decided to come back the next morning and there wasn’t a soul in sight, just the crashing ocean to keep me company… Unfortunately as of early June 2009 this archway has collapsed leaving two apostles next to eachother. For information read this story on the collapse / Settings Canon 40D, 10-22mm EF-S. • Taken on a recent trip to Port Arthur – my most favourite place in the world so far. This is the avenue that leads to the Port Arthur church, otherwise known as my sanctuary :) I have visited Port Arthur many times, however this was the first time I have seen it wearing it’s autumn colours. So very beautiful…

  • / This is an image of an old wooden fishing vessel in the Port Townsend Marina in Port Townsend Washington where I live. I have just recently started to play around with HDR and this is my first attempt at it.

  • Port Noarlunga Jetty. / South Australia. A combination of all my favourite techniques: / Wide angle, long exospure, HDR and night photography. Canon 50D. / 10-20mm (at 10mm) HDR – 3 Bracketed Exposures (up to 30 seconds) blended manually in CS3. The longest exposure (2 stops overexposed) brought out the unusual streaks from the jetty lights. Click for larger preview. See also: /
