i was asked to take pictures at the delaware speedway by my friend Cody [and i know you’re reading this because you had mentioned you stalk my redbubble basically everyday] and i had a really good time! / there were lots of really nice people and i got a bunch of great pictures in! / and i even got to ride in a racecar for a couple laps!!! it was awesome! / this is the porsche that was sitting on the track just WAITING for its picture to be taken. / i had a great day..and thanks so much cody for inviting me.. it was a great experience!

1949 Porsche 356 SL Gmund Coupe. A very special Porsche. Originally built in Gmund, Austria, Aluminum body and chassis – “SL” denotes “super leicht” or light. Number 057 is the 58th car to bare the Porsche nameplate. Most were sold for race which made a name for Porsche with successful performances in Le Mans, Carrera Panamericana, and the Mille Miglia. This car was completely restored in 1990 and a 1300cc replaced the original 1100cc engine.
