After 2 evenings and 3 hours spent scouring the Kent Countryside in search of poppy fields, this was lying less than a 5 minute drive from my house on the outskirts of Canterbury, Kent. Location / Alkham, near Dover, Kent, England. June 2009: I have never seen so many poppies so tightly packed together before, and it was a baking hot summers afternoon. Thankfully there where some whisps of clouds around to hold an interest in the sky.
