This is another one of the flowers from my show and poems for her. Come on baby lets watch an old time movie. / You pick the theme and let me know and I’ll run down the street to get it. / Just tell me what you wanna see, and its cool with me. / I just wanna lie in bed all day and have a laugh or two. / We got a week its ours to do exactly what we want. / So why not take a little time to act like we are young. / You pick the film like I said and then lets do it right. / I’ll get that really old big pot and then we’ll make popcorn. / You know that pot that no one likes to bring out of that closet. / Afraid that someone will think thats all we got and we run out of money. / You know that pot thats been around before there was a light bulb? / All dented up and the bottoms black looks like its been to war. / You remember it was a hand me down from your mom when we first got married. / Your momma said hey don’t forget this thing its my wedding gift. / You laughed and said yea sure mom, its exactly what I want. / Well I took that baby with us, to this new home that we bought. / Why you say because I knew this day would come, that we would want some popcorn. / So come on baby lets do it right I’ll make it all myself. / You melt the butter and get the bowl that big one that all yellow. / And don’t forget to fix the bed with all the biggest pillows. / And then we’ll lie back and stuff our face with that butter popcorn. / And then we’ll make a movie break and you know what that means? / We might as well do it right I got plans for you tonight.
