i was thinking about Ferris Buellers Day off last while i was trying to get to sleep…i dunno why…...anyways i bought a movie magazine and found out that John Hughes has Died of a Heart attack He made some of the most successful films of the 1980s and 1990s, including National Lampoon’s Vacation; Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; Weird Science; The Breakfast Club; Some Kind of Wonderful; Sixteen Candles; Pretty in Pink; Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Uncle Buck; Home Alone now alot of his films are like pieces of my childhood and teens and i was sad to read this news… Anyway this is a quote from Ferris Buellers Day off when school secretary Grace describes Ferris Buellr’s universal appeal R.I.P John Hughes 1950-2009

As New Years resolutions go I’ve never had luck with those that attempt to change my behavior. If I really want to effect any change or to improve the quality of my experience, then I’ve found looking at my beliefs can in fact cause profound changes. / For me the process starts with quiet introspection and a willingness to look within at anything and everything that comes up and into my awareness. Since I’ve been doing this process for years I could say it’s an experimental approach to the experiential. / This quote (on the tee) is one of my foundational new beliefs and thus is self motivating to continue this process of inner review. This has shown up as major changes in my outer behavior, but mostly in my inner sense of well being.
