Putsborough is a beach on the coast of North Devon, England, between Croyde and Woolacombe. Putsborough beach is situated on the southern end of Woolacombe Sands. The surf works at all tide stages but mid to high tend to have an edge. It is the only beach in the area that benefits from some protection from the South/Southwesterly winds, thanks to Baggy Point headland. Peaks are scattered all along its length. It has a fairly slow waves which are suitable for beginners. The sandy beach has some rocky outcrops which provide paddling pools.

Walking around the tulips I found this puddle and loved the way the red tulips reflected in it. To me it was a completely different way to view red tulips through the muddy puddle reflection. Taken at the Skagit Valley tulip festival in Washington.

Maldives at Dawn, the Maldives, Indian Ocean Atol island Paradise, this shot taken over a swimming pool leading out to see shows the amazing colours brought by the morining light during the early hours in this island Paradise. Here we see a massive mix of colours from blues to greens reds and golden yellows. We see in the photograph the reflection of the clear morning sky. Truely a relaxing image.

Situated in the 1st arrondissement, at the heart of Paris, this palace is both from an architectural point of view as from an arts perspective one of the must see sights in Paris. It displays about 300,000 works, among them some world-famous like the Mona Lisa from Leonardo da Vinci, Venus de Milo and Winged Victory. The first time the immense collection was displayed was in 1789, during the revolution when the Revolutionary Committee decided to open the King’s arts collection to the public…..The latest addition to the Louvre was the glass pyramid entrance, in my opinion one of the finest examples of a combination of modern and historic architecture…On request of the late French President Mitterrand, it was designed by the renowned American architect I.M. Pei. The glass pyramid allows the sunlight to come in on the underground floor. It has received mixed reviews, as it contrasts sharply with the design of the surrounding buildings.
